Explore stories of London, hidden in plain sight!

Join our walking tours and discover the city through the histories of women, the British Empire, migration and partition. From streets and buildings to statues and monuments, these walks show how spaces tell stories of power, memory and belonging.

OUR APPROACH

We look at the built environment as a medium of communication.

The spaces around us are layered with stories and histories. Through their design and materiality, many of our shared spaces tell stories of conflict and change; memorialisation and marginalisation; colonial pasts and complex presents. We work with clients, educational institutions and collaborators to unlock and explore these stories.

WHAT WE DO

Walking Tours, Consulting and Products

Our consultancy and educational services engage with contested heritage, diversity, equality and decolonising initiatives using creative participatory workshop formats. We focus on the constructive process of 'learning by doing' to foster meaningful engagement.

Come along on one of our regular walking tours about the British Empire and explore the history of colonisation and decolonisation in some of London's most symbolic public spaces. We aim to deliver fresh perspectives on dominant narratives through critical appreciation of the statues, monuments and the built environment. The tours take place in Westminster London UK.

WHO WE HAVE WORKED WITH

Clients, Commissions and Collaborators

We have worked with organisations across the education, heritage, arts and entertainment sectors to support their projects and social purpose initiatives. We create thought-provoking and often fun interventions that engage with narrative and the built environment. By combining critical thinking with creative exercises, we add value to academic skill sets and provide a richer perspective for creative disciplines.
